Robotics


Robotics is a fusion of mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering that deals with the design, actuation and sensory controls respectively, as well as computer systems for their control, sensory feedback and information processing of the system.

The above mentioned technologies are implemented on automated machines that can be used instead of humans in medical, industrial and the places where human existence is dangerous. Most of the newly arrived robots are inspired by nature contributing to the field of bio-motivated robotics.

Studies have been concluded that robots will be capable to mimic human behaviors and can accomplish tasks in a human-like fashion. Today, robotics is a rapidly developing field, as technology advances; researching, designing and developing new robots that can serve various practical purposes in domestically, commercial and militarily sectors. Many robots do jobs that are hazardous to people such as mines, defusing bombs, nuclear waste removal and exploring shipwrecks.

These technologies deal with automated machines that can be used instead of humans in medical, industrial and the places where human existence is dangerous and resemble humans in structure, behavior, and/or cognition. Many of today's robots are inspired by nature contributing to the field of bio-motivated robotics.
