Here we propose an Automatic public distribution system using Smart Card technique to prevent the ration forgery as there are chances that the shopkeeper may sell the material to someone else and take the profit and put some false amount in their records. Also, this system can deliver specified quantity for concerned person.

In this system, a Smart Card is used, that carries the Account information about the Family or Customer. The device will check for the user authentication by their smart card. If the user is found authentic, then the account details and quantity of ration to be given to the customer according to the total number of family members will be displayed on LCD. Then the user can enter the item and its required quantity by keypad. A measuring system (Load cell or Flow meter) is connected with the device measure exact quantity as per the user information and dispatch the item. In this system, the information about the delivered ration will be send directly to the server without manual feeding.

The main aim of the project is to acquire real-time human body parameters remotely over internet falling under the category of Internet of Things-IOT. For this real-time scenario we take one digital temperature sensor, heart rate and blood pressure sensor interfaced to the system to send live data to a remote location anywhere in the world over internet. The data is directly sent through a Wi-Fi module ESP8266 under TCP IP protocol to a dedicated IP on the cloud via networked wireless modem environment.

Since it is a portable device, it helps user to take daily check-up at home and the monitored data is available on the smart phone or pc of physician who regularly make check-up. And also, the data is available for other relatives who know the patient body conditions. Also the patient can use it as emergency alerting system by a trigger switch attached with the device. This trigger will inform the responsible authority to take necessary actions. This device displays the data in real time by sending end upon a LCD display interfaced to the device. Also, the kit included with the design of an automated system which reminds people (majorly the elderly people living in the rural areas) of their medication schedule and can also bypass the requirement of the search of which medicine to intake at a specific time. So that medication can be monitored over internet.

The impact when a motorcyclist involves in a high-speed accident without wearing a helmet is very dangerous and can cause fatality. Wearing a helmet can reduce shock from the impact and may save a life. There are many countries enforcing a regulation that requires the motorcycle rider to wear a helmet when riding on their motorcycle. With this reason, this project is specially developed as to improve the safety of the motorcycle rider. Only when the rider buckled the helmet then only the engine of motorcycle will start. The breath alcohol sensor in the smart helmet helps to identify alcohol level and prevents him/her from drunken driving and thus reduces accidents. The rider can use GPS technology to locate himself/herself and can navigate to the destination. In case of accidents GSM/GPRS modem send a message to a person regarding rider’s location. This smart helmet mainly concerned on safety and comfortableness of rider.

Autofill is a term for the functionality that automatically adds text in to fields. It reduces the hassle of typing the information in yourself. In our daily life, we are handling many type of application forms in school, college, village office, bank etc. It is a time-consuming process and any error in filling makes tedious. In this project smart ID card like RFID tag is used as user identification module. The keypad attached with the raspberry pi used to select proper form, number of copies and other navigation process. Display unit which can be HDMI or VGA compactible monitor or Alphanumeric LCD for visualizing. An USB printer (HP Deskjet) which can be directly attached with the raspberry pi to print the document with filled user information. Here we propose a system which automatically fill and print with help of raspberry pi for college. Using college ID card students can access the system. Also, the forms like ‘registration form, scholarship forms, library membership forms’ any number of forms can be added so that students can select appropriate form and fill the form with student ID details and filled form can print with help of printer attached with raspberry pi easily.

In today’s fast paced life, Parents are busy in their professional life everyone is busy in its own life. Nowadays, even the mothers are working, it sometimes become a problem for parents and nurses to look after the infants, so they do not get sufficient time to take care of their babies. It may be expensive for the household to afford a nanny. Today’s woman has to manage home along with their office work simultaneously. After long working hours, they have to take care of the home along with the baby. They may not get enough time to swing the cradle manually and sooth the baby. Moreover, in today’s life style, it is very difficult even for the housewives to sit nearby their infants and sooth them whenever they cry. Hospitals have neonatal and maternity units. Nurses in these units have to take care of baby and sooth them whenever they cry. Hence, it has become a need to develop a new automatic electronic cradle, as, existing cradles are to be swayed manually. The proposed E-Cradle is a novel solution to this problem. E-Cradle swings automatically when baby cries, for this it has a microphone detects the baby cry voice and accordingly the cradle swings till the baby stops crying and also checks whether the mattress is wet or not. The system is provided with an alarm that indicates two conditions –first when the mattress is wet, which is an important parameter to keep the baby in hygienic condition, second when baby does not stop crying with in a stipulated time of 2 min, which intimates that baby needs attention.

In this project we are developing a device that lets you control your stove from your smartphone and helps to protect you and your loved ones from the devastating effects of house fires. Its combination of sensors and electronics enable it to not only detect high levels of smoke, natural gas, and lack of motion (or, you in the kitchen), but also react and alert to keep you safe. It also allows you to monitor your stove remotely and modulate the burner temperature. To achieve this, we introducing two units – sensor unit and knob unit. The sensor unit houses the gas, smoke and motion detectors that monitor your kitchen’s environment. If it senses high levels of smoke or gas, or if the motion sensor recognizes that the stove was left on accidentally, it informs the user’s smartphone via Wi-Fi and alert others with the help of buzzer. Knob unit read the burner status i.e. whether the stove is ON or OFF and send to the smartphone. The smartphone app allows you to easily monitor your kitchen environment and status of your stove. You will also receive real-time alerts if a hazard is detected or if you left the house with your stove on.

LPG gas is supplied in pressurized steel cylinders. Most people disregard the importance of gas detection devices because they think they can rely on their senses all the time to tell whether there is a leakage of methane gas in the vicinity. For instance, there are a considerable number of gases that are odourless. These gases can invade surrounding air without you knowing it, and the horrifying truth is that they may cause respiratory arrest and death. These past few days few accidents are be-cause of fire incidents and the reason behind this are that the gas tank is left open. These incidents are because of the irresponsible use of the people of their gas tanks. With the use of gas detector, we can actually avoid things like this to happen. Here is a circuit that detects the leakage of LPG gas and alerts the user by sending an automated SMS. Using weight sensor, it measures the weight of the gas cylinder and sends an automated information to the distributor as well as to the user.

This paper discusses the concept of a smart wearable device for little children. The major advantage of this wearable over other wearable is that it can be used in any cell phone and doesn't necessarily require an expensive smartphone and not a very tech savvy individual to operate. The purpose of this device is to help parents locate their children with ease. At the moment there are many wearables in the market which help track the daily activity of children and also help to find the child using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth services present on the device. But Wi-Fi and Bluetooth appear to be an unreliable medium of communication between the parent and child. Therefore, the focus of this paper is to have an SMS text enabled communication medium between the child's wearable and the parent as the environment for GSM mobile communication is almost present everywhere. The parent can send a text with specific keywords such as "LOCATION" "TEMPERATURE" "UV" "SOS" "BUZZ", etc., the wearable device will reply back with a text containing the real time accurate location of the child which upon tapping will provide directions to the child's location on google maps app and will also provide the surrounding temperature, UV radiation index so that the parents can keep track if the temperature or UV radiation is not suitable for the child. The prime motivation behind this paper is that we know how important technology is in our lives but it can sometimes can't be trusted, and we always need to have a secondary measure at hand. The secondary measure used in this project is the people present in the surrounding of the child who could instantly react for the child's safety till the parents arrive or they could contact the parents and help locate them. The secondary measure implemented was using a bright SOS Light and distress alarm buzzer present on the wearable device which when activated by the parents via SMS text should display the SOS signal brightly and sound an alarm which a bystander can easily spot as a sign of distress. Hence this paper aims at providing parents with a sense of security for their child in today's time.

In this project, we introduce a new concept of Power Line Communication. Here, we multiplex data into 230v power lines which provide electricity to our various devices. This method of communication opens up a broad spectrum of applications where this technology can prove useful. In this project, we try to demonstrate one application of this technology. Here we Automate the process of connection / disconnection of power supplies of various consumers, by developing intelligent power meters that are able to decode this data, which carries information about the supply status of the various consumers, based on which the intelligent power meter automatically connects, or disconnects the power supplies of these customers. This system is also appropriate for identifying power theft in lines.

The concept of IOT is utilized in this model, remote monitoring of energy meter which is intended to overcome the issues in existing Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) system. It spares tremendous human work. A controller integrated with electronic energy meter assist in distant correspondence from the developed android application. This application enables monitoring of bill generation at consumer premises without human intervention and also in visualizing live data consumption and sight energy expended points of interest on daily/monthly basis. This journal explains about the most common problem experienced in our day-to-day lives that is regarding GAS container going empty. We bring this paper to create awareness about the reducing weight of the gas in the container, and to place a gas order using IOT. The gas booking/order is being done with the help IOT and that the continuous weight measurement is done using a load cell which is interfaced with a Microcontroller (to compare with an ideal value). For ease it is even has a been added with an RF TX & Rx module which will give the same information. When it comes it to security of the kit as well as gas container we have an MQ-2(gas sensor), LM 35(temperature sensor), which will detect the surrounding environment for any chance of error. Whenever any change is subjected in any of the sensors (load cell, LM35, Mq-2) a siren (60db) is triggered.

Detecting fire and extinguishing it is a dangerous job that puts life of a fire fighter at risk. There are many fire accidents which fire fighter had to lose their lives in the line of duty each year throughout the world. The research and development in the field of Artificial Intelligence has given rise to Robotics. Robots are implemented in various areas like Industries, Manufacturing, Medicines etc. Hence, Robotics can be used to assist fire fighters to perform this task of fire-fighting and thus reduce the risk of their lives. Fire Fighter is a robot designed to use in such extreme conditions. It can be operated and controlled by remote user and has the ability to extinguish fire after locating the source of fire. It is equipped with a monitoring system and operates through a wireless communication system. The fire detection system is designed using the sensors mounted on the fire fighter robot. The robot is controlled autonomously using Android application. Android mobile phone platform developed by Google has gained popularity among software developers due to its powerful capabilities and open platform. Therefore, Android is a great platform to control a Robotic system. Android provides many resources and already integrates lot of sensors. This concept helps to generate interest as well as innovation in field of robotics while working towards a practical and obtainable solution to save lives and mitigate the risk of property damage.

The paper presents the design and implementation of an IOT-based health monitoring system for emergency medical services which can demonstrate collection, integration, and interoperation of IoT data flexibly which can provide support to emergency medical services like Intensive Care Units(ICU), using Raspberry PI. The proposed model enables users to improve health related risks and reduce healthcare costs by collecting, recording, analysing and sharing large data streams in real time and efficiently. The idea of this project came so to reduce the headache of patient to visit to doctor every time he need to check his blood pressure, heart beat rate, temperature etc. With the help of this proposal the time of both patients and doctors are saved and doctors can also help in emergency scenario as much as possible. The proposed outcome of the project is to give proper and efficient medical services to patients by connecting and collecting data information through health status monitors which would include patient’s heart rate, blood pressure and ECG and sends an emergency alert to patient’s doctor with his current status and full medical information and seamlessly requests for Ambulance Service.

The nation and world is facing a huge problem today of disposal, segregation and recycling of solid waste, and improper management of these wastes are hazardous and dangerous to human health and ecological system. There is a rapid increase in capacity and categories of solid waste as a result of urbanization, constant economic growth, and industrialization. Global Waste Management Market reported that the amount of waste generated worldwide produced is 2.02 billion tones. “Wastes are not always waste if it is segregated as it was”. To properly manage the waste, it has to be handled, segregated, transported and disposed so as to reduce the risks to the public lives and sustainable environmental. The economic value of waste is best comprehended when it is segregated. Currently there is no such system employed of segregation of glass, plastic and metallic wastes at industrial level. This paper proposes an Automation of Waste Material Segregation in scrap industry. This method is easy and simple solution of segregation of three types of wastes glass, metal and plastic. It is designed to sort the trash into metallic waste, plastic waste and glass waste ready to be processed separately for the next process of operation. The Method uses inductive sensors metallic items, and capacitive sensors to distinguish between and dry waste. Experimental results show that the segregation of waste into metallic, plastic and glass waste has been successfully implemented using the Automation of material segregation (AMS) method.
